03:53 – Sales funnel and online sales funnel
*How to generate new leads and how to get to the potential clients that you’re trying to get!!!
If you don’t have a funnel, you will not have much of a pipeline and if you don’t have much of a pipeline, you don’t have a lot of future business and so funnels are key and just, like probably, one of the most important things you can create for your business.
05:17 – How you had to create the funnel and how you had to get people to landing pages?
- There are three products that you have to have if you’re doing a certain launch, if you’re doing a webinar one and now there are video launches, too.
*Janet’s doing a funnel for a client right now that is a mortgage officer to be able to get clients (SIDE NOTE: After this show launched this business had 10 leads and closed a deal + more on the line to close)
Janet has done the funnels all the time for different types of businesses, but the one that she just did actually was a webinar launch. so they needed to have Leadpages and there’s another product and there’s another product called ClickFunnels.
06:36 – Landing Pages, Sales Pages, Thank you Pages and Email automation
Basically, you can create quick landing pages, sales pages webinar landing pages, Thank You pages, and anything like that about you, it’s like a one web page and they have all the templates for it, so, it’s a really nice system to simplify for you and your business.
- Connect that to something like email to collect emails, so you need some sort of email autoresponder system.
Janet’s uses a Aweber, typically MailChimp is a good one and then there’s the higher priced one, like the Infusionsoft and some deeper ones that are more robust to that a lot of people use. So make sure you have an email autoresponder to connect it to.
- A webinar system if you are doing a webinar so that could be GoToMeeting it could be JoinMe, Zoom,
So, you need to have those minimally if you’re doing a webinar!
Some people do a video launch, where they do multiple videos. Then, you don’t necessarily have to have the webinar system.
- You could create a landing page, put the video on YouTube, hidden, and then have a landing page built within Leadpages and then have the video be sent out through the email
08:49 – Jon Loomer
This is a launch for Jon Loomer and he did a free twelve video series and he’s got some great entrepreneur products
- He did 12 videos and then you get one per day for 12 days
- Video series vs webinar?
- A video series is a good option instead of a webinar, because people feel that they can chunk out smaller time periods for a quick video, rather than a larger piece of time that webinars often require, but you can always go back and view pieces at your leisure of the webinar if it is recorded.
09:31 – Chris Brogan
Chris Brogan has been a guest in the past and prefers recording videos instead of anything live.
Tim, a viewer of our Facebook Live, mentioned ClickFunnels, if you want to have it all in one so you don’t have those pieces. All in one ClickFunnels might be your answer, but if you want it separated out, you just want a couple of the pieces, then you know you might want the Leadpages or Aweber, you know pick and choose what you want
12:20 – The moving parts of a funnel
Ad Copy is needed first
1. So, if you’re doing a webinar launch, for instance, you would have to have an ad first off, an ad copy that and an email copy for your past email list to send out to bring them to a landing page which is built by Leadpages for them to sign up for your free webinar.
- It can either, but we did a video to promote the webinar and we also tested graphics
*Square Graphics VS Video
- Video is best because you can always retarget the video viewers
If they don’t sign up for the webinar the first time seeing your video, you can retarget them then with the video viewers option
Animoto – Another software that you would need if you decided to do that, it’s just a website, but actually they create videos.
14:55 – Webinar Landing Page
- You could use the Animoto software, you can have a graphic designer, you can do it yourself, you need graphics, you need copy, all those pieces in order to just get started with bringing them to the landing page.
- Leadpages has to talk to the webinar system, then the webinar system has to talk to the Aweber or whatever email system that you’re using.
- Link to the email provider, link to the webinar system, and you got to make sure everything’s working
- Once the webinar clients hit the thank you page, they had an upsell, a $7 download. Why ? We wanted to benefit them and it’s a way to pay back your ad dollars. Plus, they actually purchased a product, so make sure you file them accordingly..they are now clients and to target them in the future. It has to be another sales page and that has to link to Paypal to pay for that item, then that leads to Paypal talking to the email provider and we have to put that download onto a website and the email has to lead them to that download too! You can do it!
16:45 – Janet’s tips in doing a Webinar launch and how it can work step-by-step
- You can do all this, it works, you just need to know where to put these things
- “Things are beyond your control sometimes, the key is knowing and not to beat everything up about it, because it isn’t gonna change,” Terry said.
- The webinar system should send out email reminders and or you send out email reminders to before leading up to the webinar making sure to remind them
- You go through the webinar and then you have what we call an upsell at the end of that with that upsell
- Then at the end of the webinar you talk about your special offer, then a new sales page, and payment options, Paypal, Samcart. Thank you page again and put those on a separate email list for those who purchased and one for those who did not
- Then, you go 5 days after the webinar to close it, so that gives people time to think about it, but not too much time.
- Then, do a followup email sequence and follow up ad copy for those who attended and those who did not attend.
- That’s how a webinar works.
Sales funnel ecommerce works well with video and retargeting video viewers and strategies for all types
- lt works differently for different types of businesses, some are for online business and some are for off line, and some are combination.
- There’s a lot of different pieces that are in place in order to create that sales funnel and it depends on the type of business and what it is for the strategy.
- Making sure that you have that funnel and knowing what that is and more importantly, how you’re going to keep sticking bodies in there, without it, there’s just there’s no business
- Getting to people to have some level of awareness of who you are, that’s the top of the funnel and then figuring out how to drive them through, whether it’s through very targeted emails or targeted ads and what they need
- It takes work.
- You need to build your authority, you need to create engagement , you need to engage with people and you also need to make sure you know your strategy
- Upsell is easy for you to offer other products , if you have other things when they’re purchasing
29:42 – Action Steps:
- Instead of just talking about just a product launch, it could be for anything, so it could be for e-commerce, it could be for selling the VR, it could be for real estate.
- You want to think about the entire funnel and start with the end goal and work your way backwards
- You just want to make sure that you want to make a sale, but, what’s it going to take to get to that sale and work your way backwards. It’s not one-time deal anymore, it’s about getting in front of people again and how are you going to create that strategy and you need to study things*
- Maybe video will work better, maybe graphic, maybe Facebook ad works, great, maybe it has to be on LinkedIn. It doesn’t always work the same for every business so you need to study things and you need to touch the strategy.
Make sure you setup your strategy and your funnels!!!
